I’ve always been a fan of the Apple Watch, especially its water resistance and its ability to keep me hydrated, but Apple has finally made it official: the Apple watch can’t swim.
The wearable’s water resistance, the company says, can’t handle more than 10 milliliters of water in a 30-minute period, and its waterproofing is limited to a 0.1mm to 0.2mm layer of silicone.
Apple has also promised that the Apple Watches water resistance will continue to improve, but I haven’t seen it in action yet, and the company’s own research has shown that even the latest model can’t survive a full-on swim.
In short, Apple has effectively killed its waterproofed iPhone.
And it has effectively stopped the Watch from ever being waterproof.
To make matters worse, the watch will soon be compatible with the new Gear VR headset, which, as it turns out, is just as waterproof.
Here’s the big problem: the watch is a $2,000 gadget, and it’s going to end up costing you about $2k for a new device with the same waterproofing.
In other words, you’re looking at a $1,200 difference between your new iPhone and the iPhone 7 Plus.
If you already own a Samsung or LG smartwatch, you probably don’t need to worry about this problem.
The problem with Apple’s decision to stop making waterproof smartwatches The biggest concern about Apple’s move to stop selling its waterproof smartwatch is that it could be used to scam people out of their money.
A smartwatch’s waterproofing has long been a hot topic on the tech community, as people have been clamoring for waterproofing to keep their smartphones safe.
It’s an issue that has been debated for years.
Google and Samsung both made their smartwalls waterproof by limiting the water resistance to the phone, but Google’s smartwares still leak through.
Apple and Google also both make their smartwatch waterproof by making the display water-resistant.
However, both companies have tried to push their smart watches into the consumer market, with both companies offering them at a price tag that can be prohibitively high.
Google’s own smartwatch with a waterproof display was priced at $2.99 for a 32GB model.
Samsung’s flagship smartwatch was $1.99, while Apple’s own watch with a display that is water-resistance-limited to 0,1mm is $1 (US) $1 ($1.29 for the 64GB model).
Even with a lower price tag, the difference in quality between a smartwatch and a phone is still noticeable.
Samsung is offering a 64GB Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch that has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, while the Gear S2 smartwatch has a 1,280 x 800 resolution.
The Gear S4, which is a cheaper, water-proof version of the S3, is priced at just $79.
Apple’s waterproof smart watch, however, is more expensive, at $299 for a 64 GB model.
The price difference makes it obvious that the water-protection on the smartwatch isn’t enough to keep you safe from thieves.
A few months ago, Apple introduced a new waterproof smartband, which uses the same display as the Gear VR.
It also had a “waterproof” screen.
This new band, though, has been redesigned to be water- and dust-proof, and Apple is making it available for $100 in black or white (which is available in select markets), as well as for $120 in black (the only black color).
Apple has already started selling the waterproof watch on Amazon, which sells it for $50 off.
But Amazon’s new smartwatch may not last you for long.
Apple said that it will stop selling the smartwands in its stores this summer, though the company has yet to confirm exactly when.
As far as I can tell, the only smartwand that’s still available is the Gear 3, which has a water-resistive screen that costs $129.
Apple will probably make it available again for $129, which means it won’t be sold anywhere else, even at a discount.
But the Gear 2 has already sold out, and we expect the Gear 1 and Gear 2 to soon follow.
As for the new waterproof watch, it will likely be released sometime this summer.
